Do I have to be a part of The Beacon Network to be a nominee or to nominate someone?
No. You do not have to be a part of The Beacon Network to nominate someone or to be a nominee. However, the nominee should be located in and serve the Central Florida community.
Is anyone excluded from nomination?
Current Officers and Directors of The Beacon Network and their organizations and immediate families are not eligible for the awards.
Can I nominate myself?
Yes. Self nominations are allowed and encouraged.
If I am an award recipient, do I have to attend the Champions of Change Luncheon to receive the award?
No. However, all nominees are strongly encouraged to be present or send a designee to accept on their behalf if they are the award recipient.
What if I have special dietary needs for the meal?
Please just let us know when you register. We should be able to accommodate most dietary needs made in a timely manner. The Beacon Network and our host locations
may not be able to accommodate late requests for special meals.
What is appropriate attire for the event?
This is a business function and dress business attire is appropriate.
What is the deadline for submission?
The deadline for submission is TBD. Entries received after this deadline WILL NOT be considered.
